Temp Election Cycle Assistant - Recorder - $33,904-$42,380

Globe, AZ - Temporary

• The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of clerical activities in support of the Recorder’s Office programs and services.   Incumbents in this position assist in planning, organizing and coordinating Voter Registration and Early Voting activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process daily mail.
• Accepts and distributes various forms related to Early voting including Voter Registration forms and Early ballots.
• Provides clerical support to the Chief Registrar; performs receptionist duties which include customer service and resolution of routine inquiries from the public and governmental entities, both on the phone and in person.
• Receives early ballot information from voters.
• Reviews early ballots for inclusion of signatures.
• Assists in the collection of early ballots throughout the County.
• Assists in the collection of early ballots throughout the County.

Minimum Education Required 

• High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Years of Directly Related Experience Required

• One year clerical support experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Professional Credentials Required

• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
