Courtroom Coordinator - Superior Court - $40,588-$50,736

Globe - Full Time

This a grant funded position.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate courtroom proceedings and facilitate technological access and function within the Court Administration Department and Courtrooms. The role may also perform clerical support duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Liaises with Gila County IT and the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to resolve IT issues within the Court Administration Department and the Courtrooms to ensure internet access and network connectivity for proper function of audio, visual and technological requirements.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues that may arise with information technology resources including Electronic Evidence Presenter (ELMO), Liberty Court Recorder, Zoom Video Conferencing, YouTube, Courtroom sound systems, and hearing devices used during Courtroom hearings.
Acts as liaison between judge, attorneys and courtroom staff to ensure orderly and efficient use of information technology resources for the smooth operation of the Court. Assists attorneys with digital evidence equipment and if necessary, runs equipment during hearings.
Provides clerical assistance to Court Administration and Court personnel as needed.

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma or GED with additional specialized or technical training courses.High School Diploma or GED with additional specialized or technical training courses.

Minimum Years of Directly Related Experience Required

Two (2) years of computer related experience and experience in dealing with the public; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
