Nexus Coalition for Drug and Substance Abuse is the only substance abuse prevention coalition in Navajo County. Coalition resources work to support youth in building life skills through several school-based curricula, classes for justice involved youth and community events. Adults gain skills through community-based trainings including trauma informed care and parenting education.
Member Duties : Providing outreach and education support that: increases life skills; reduces substance abuse; saves lives; and builds stronger, healthier communities in Navajo County.

Qualifications:
AmeriCorps VISTAs
- Must be at least 18 years old, no upper age limit.
- Pass a criminal background check
- Have college degree or similar level of prior work experience
- AmeriCorps VISTA service is open to all US Citizens, US Nationals, Lawful Permanent Residents, and persons legally residing in a state.

We are looking for someone with experience in or knowledge of Recruitment, Public Speaking, Computers/Technology, Team Work, Social Media/Marketing, Video, Writing/Editing, Communications.
