Salary Range:  $56,839.00 - $85,258.00 per year

This position provides supervision of Public Safety Telecommunicators who perform a variety of complex duties involved in the receipt and dispatching of emergency calls for law enforcement, fire, medical and control, and other emergency assistance. Supervises requests for police services to the community. Must have the ability to analyze situations quickly and respond with appropriate action within department guidelines. GIS skills are an integral part of this position with responsibilities including evaluating effectiveness and accuracy of data, resolving issues and assisting in the development and creation of map layers to enhance public safety operations. The employee exercises considerable independent judgment.
