ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

The City of Globe is accepting applications for a part-time non-exempt Administrative Clerk.  This position will be located at the Globe Public Library and scheduled for 29 hours per week total.  This position is not benefits eligible.

 

Job Description:

 

Performs a variety of routine clerical, secretarial and administrative duties and will work with city staff and volunteers.  This position is primarily located at Globe Public Library but temporary assignments could happen within the City of Globe.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • One (1) year of experience working with the public, customer service, receptionist duties, answering phones, data entry and cashiering
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to use PC computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, cash register, copy and fax machines
  • Ability to stoop, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass drug test, physical examination and background check
  • Valid AZ state driver’s license or ability to obtain one

 

Starting Salary:       $13.50 per hour
