- Plans, coordinates, and implements Gila County Health education and prevention programs, projects, and activities; monitors and evaluates assigned programs; and ensures competent staffing and supplies are available.

- Supervises and provides administrative guidance to assigned personnel; ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

- Manages public health programs consistent with appropriate public health laws and regulations; acts as liaison between funding representatives and County.

- Identifies, assesses, and reviews health statuses, needs, and determinants of health of target populations and oversees development and implementation of community health programs.

- Monitors and prepares contract budget expenses; records program expenses and income; and prepares billing invoices and expenditure reports.

- Establishes and maintains community contact and relationships with stakeholders through worksite visits, community meetings and committees; coordinates school-based activities.
|
- Coordinates and delivers educational services and information to target populations through classroom presentations, public workshops, health fairs, radio presentations, lending libraries, newspaper articles, and public postings.

- Promotes programs and local projects through advertising and use of media.
|
- Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual reports in accordance with grant reporting requirements.
