Description
United Fund of Globe-Miami, Inc will partner with an AmeriCorps VISTA Member to create three or more collaborative projects between existing United Fund non-profit agencies to creatively, strategically, and effectively serve community citizens more effectively.
 
By fostering strategic collaborative community relationships among the existing United Fund agencies, our AmeriCorps VISTA member will strengthen our existing community partnerships and foster improved stewardship of resources. This will enable us to withstand future economic changes and foster interdependency among agencies who’ve traditionally seen their work as independent of one another.
 
Position Details:

Outreach Coordinator VISTA needed to improve inter-agency relationships by building collaborative strategic plans to reduce duplicative administrative activities and shift programmatic development to sustainable models rooted in data.

  • Create inventory of current resources & needs
  • Develop materials to update stakeholders
  • Assist with 2020 grant application period
  • Assist with the launch of collaborative projects
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Must have a college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Available to serve in a full time capacity for one year
  • Strong written & verbal skills
  • Have previous experience as a CEO or board member
