The Assistant I, Marketing/Graphic Design reports to the Gila County Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. This is a part-time position generally consisting of no more than 19.5 hours per week as scheduled by the supervisor, with occasional weeks up to 29 hours. The schedule is Monday – Friday, with an occasional evening or weekend assignment.

Required Qualifications:
• Proficient in the use of computers and various computer software packages, including Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of social media principles and practices
• Ability to learn and adhere to EAC brand standards and divisional marketing practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent graphic design skills


Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines
• Knowledge of AP Style or basic proofreading skills
• Project a professional demeanor in attitude and dress


Responsibilities:
• Create social media posts and manage regular posting on all channels
• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner
• Use analytics to gauge campaign success and increase followers
• Write and develop content-specific flyers, brochures, newsletters, ads and videos
• Create campaign materials using Adobe Creative Suite
• Take photos at events
• Set-up photo shoots and assist during sessions
• Assist with campus tours
• Complete a variety of special assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned
